Floating Designs
We had great fun completing this experiment. We discussed the difference between whiteboard markers and the sharpie permanent markers that we use in Art.
Everyone then drew a design on a white plate using a whiteboard marker. Ms Kelly very carefully poured water onto the plate. Our designs started to lift off the plate and move...we started screaming!!
This happened as the water was able to lift off the designs and they floated in the water. This would not happen with permanent markers. We had loads of fun
